The draft new Value for Money Standard (which is currently out for consultation) sets out a new “specific expectation” for registered providers to give “full consideration of costs and benefits of alternative commercial, organisational and delivery structures”. This seminar is designed for RPs who are considering whether their structure and governance is fit for purpose in light of their strategic objectives and makes best use of resources.
Who should attend?
Executive Team Members and Chairs who wish to explore:
- Key questions to consider when reviewing their current group structure against future objectives;
- Potential and existing work streams within their group structure and where these are best placed; and
- Common hurdles and obstacles and how these can be overcome.
The session will explore a wide variety of factors, including development, disposals programmes, mergers, commercial activity funding options and good governance.
Why should I attend?
The seminar, jointly hosted by Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP and DTP Limited is designed to encourage participants to share knowledge and experience, and gain insight into relevant strategic business planning, legal and funding issues. The sector has had much to contend with. Now is the time for organisations to reflect on their objectives and be proactive in considering how best to achieve them. Boards also have a duty to ensure that they make best use of the resources available to them and this applies to the organisational and governance structures in addition to the composition of the Board itself.
