I act on behalf of people who have suffered harm, as a result of negligence or abuse, by those who owe them a duty of care. I strive to achieve the best possible outcome for all of my clients, hoping to allow them access to justice and to achieve a more positive future.
I joined Anthony Collins Solicitors as a trainee Solicitor, qualifying in to the clinical negligence and personal injury team in 2010. Since then, I have represented clients involved in a broad range of clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
My niche specialism has evolved over recent years, and now I represent individuals who have suffered abuse, either as a child or as a vulnerable adult, including numerous cases on behalf of older people.
This is a very sad case, where Mrs McDonald’s daughter Rachael became concerned about her mother’s overly apologetic behaviour within the care home.
On 23 May 2014, Ofsted announced the outcome of its latest review of the performance of the Children’s Services department of Birmingham City Council.
It is of course important to note that care of this kind is not universal. However, according to inquiries received by Anthony Collins Solicitors and existing clients, poor care, unanswered requests for help, enforced incontinence and basic neglect is unfortunately all too common in the care of elderly people.
