Member of the property team.
As joint head of property for Anthony Collins Solicitors I work closely with both the public and private sectors in the property and construction arena and I develop the firm’s commercial client base. My role also includes developing and supporting the trainees and newly-qualified solicitors and raising the profile of the real estate team.
I have been involved in significant projects across the country, including the regeneration of a deprived area of Liverpool and a £100 million redevelopment of canal-side area of Lancaster. Working closely with clients to transform and regenerate areas is of great importance to me and as vice chair of Heritage Works, outside of work I work to bring historic buildings back into economic use.
Joint ventures present an opportunity for housing associations to build organisational capacity, the revenues from which could help deliver on wider social housing commitments.
The accompanying Code of Practice explains the primary purpose is for housing associations to understand their assets and security position and to have swift access to information in decision making and risk management.
